Talk about weird coincidence and all these years you never knew it hapenned that way until I mentioned it here and Doc's reply totally had me thinking that my poor demented mind was actually slowly going ( like that kinks song says )..." There's too much on my mind and I can't sleep at night thinking about it...
it's ruining my brain, I'll never be the same, my poor demented mind is slowly going " - Richie remind me to tell you the story of Dave ( Davies ) singing that to me on his first solo tour in 1997 in Providence Rhode Island on a 6 degree cold December night where I was passed out over his PA system at the front of the stage and half my clothes were off ad scattered on the stage...and when I came to I ran out of the club pretty close to naked back to our Hotel where Dave was staying too only for him his girlfreind and Andrea to find me passed out in the hotel lobby...and this was when Andrea only had known me about 1 month and we've been together ever since...Bean hey it's only rock n roll?
" The eagle picks my eye
The worm he licks my bone
I feel so suicidal
Just like Dylan's Mr. Jones
Lonely wanna die
If I ain't dead already
Ooh, girl you know the reason why

The black cloud crossed my mind
Blue mist round my soul
Feel so suicidal
Even hate my rock and roll wanna die
Yeah, wanna die
If I ain't dead already
Ooh, girl you know the reason why "

From the earliest days of time, one of my treasured pics:

And I will continue this Early Days in Valley Stream story with the glory days of Bombers' Field ... soon!

Rich

What a long, strange trip it's been!
