Joe,
I don't know about that. While Hawkeye was very resourceful, I think the NY city cab drivers would do him in. One slight hesitation while crossing the street (assuming he would know how to cross with lights etc.) and those cabbies would mow him down. They are relentless!! Other than that, he would probably be OK and may even be amused at all the progress that has occured in 240 years....Lynne
