Well, Georgette, I don't think we ever reached a conclusion! People have talked about the poor accomodations for native extras, and the resulting strike. I assume from that discussion that the academy, which is made up of actors and technicians who join (is that right??), was punishing Mann for running a set on which people felt compelled to strike.

Are there other ideas out there? Does someone have some "inside" information?
