: : Oops. I meant Wilderness Empire!  Wilderness War is about the Revolutionary War(but good also).

: Also try Eckert's "The Frontiersman" about the life of Simon Kenton, a man few have heard of, who saved D. Boone's life, kicked Andy Jackson's butt, went with G.Rogers Clark on his expd. into Revolutionary Ohio, and many other adventures.  A really good read too!
: Another good one is "Drums Along The Mohawk", it gives a day to day account of life on the frontier.
