Just what the heck are you talking about? What mindset? As I recall, you were stating a difference between criminal trials in America and Europe, and whether or not you were referring to now or then, you were wrong. Let's make it simpler: In no European country is it up to the defense to disprove the case! Neither is there a European "mindset" that the defense should have to do so. The principles of fair trials are not some uniquely American invention.
Hope that makes it clear. If you don't agree, then give us some facts to show that you know what you are talking about.
Sorry if I'm not quite as easy on you as one should generally be with a newcomer, but I can't let you throw false statements around, someone might believe them.
