Hi, Elizabeth, good to hear from you!
I don't doubt that Eric's got a lot more going for him than we see on the physical surface (lovely surface that it is). To be sure, were I ever fortunate enough to meet the man, I certainly wouldn't approach him with the folderol we've been happily engaging in here! We were just going a little bonkers, being silly and playful amongst ourselves. Didn't mean in any way to imply a lack of respect for Eric.

Besides, I was focusing on the character of Uncas....just good-hearted fantasy! :)
