Bill, Not taking you as argumentative at all. I also like to hunt in the rain ,or during the early morning dew. What I meant was( I should have clarified this)
I was struck by the unearthly quiet way they were running full tilt through the forest. I sound like a bear moving through the hardwood ( this either explains my good luck, they think I'm one of them, or I can blame my big feet when I lose out), and I'm trying my best to be quiet. Yes the sound of them running was edited, but even as I realized that, I admired Mann's idea of them flying through the hardwood stealthly as a trio of big cats on the hunt.
This was how we were supposed to see Hawkeye as "Le Long Carabine', the master of the forest, the supreme hunter.
