Chingachgook: "My feet are weary, Hawkeye, I've got holes in my mocassins!!!"
Hawkeye: "Don't worry, as soon as we get to town I buy you a nice set of Nikes!"
Again our brave duo is on the path to save lives again...Meanwhile on the set of Michael Mann's newest movie...The honeywagon explodes, the actors and Michael Mann are suffering from Montezuma's revenge or is it Uncas' revenge??( Immodium is in high demand!) Terror is in the air..!! Michael knows something isn't right. At night he can barely find any rest, the spirit of Uncas is haunting him .He hears Uncas' voice saying: "Alice, Alice, ..I need you!!' Impatiently Michael awaits the return of our brave frontiers men. BUT- all of a sudden he knows how to fight this restless spirit. Feverishly he grabs for his addressbook and looks for a certain phone number..Ah! here it is. Michael, bathed in sweat, dials Eric Schweig's phonenumber in beautiful Canada. Eric, the noble man he is, jumps on the next plane to L.A. to help his favourite director with-yes you guessed it- his handcarved bird mask ! Confronted with the powerful bird mask of the Inuit and the strong presence of Mr. Schweig, Uncas knows that he has lost the battle and fearfully disappears. Michael Mann is at peace again..Off to the next movie.BUT-wait!!There is still the crazed Depends brigade, a helpless Magua( must have lost his knife along the way..) and our two brave warriors, Hawkeye and Ching ( with his new Nikes)
To be continued by Elaine....
