: Good morning again LOMers. Kathy, I had that very same thought.
: It was the old man in the crowd that did for Magua....and the much
: younger Uncas, though valiant and full of heart, made a real botch of it. The older Magua almost seemed to be toying with the
: younger Uncas. There is a lesson to be learned there I think, were the SYMTs to have the wisdom to see it. But ah, youth. It is part of youth to be blinded by enthusiasm and self-absorption!!!

Bill gave me some hard times thinking 'bout where I'm supposed to stand: among SYMTs or GGGGs? Is there any expiring age? Am I wading the tumultuous waters of GGGG river or self-absorbing myself in the quite babbling mountain stream of SYMT? Or was it vice-versa? I forgot and fear that forgetting delivers me right into GGGGs. Early Alzheimer knocking at my door. Who am I?
who are you and (worst of all) who is Eric?
Anyway, as far as Magua vs. Uncas, I think long fighting experience of the older one played an important role, whilst as for Chinga vs. Magua dont forget that the first was lead by desperation and probably the deepest pain one can ever feel.
This could give enourmous strength and determination, I think.
Anyway...Guess I'd better take a nap and think about the whole darn matter.
