Hey Eric (Soldier #2)
Tell me....I can't seem to remember if I had ever heard or not...
*shaking old head hoping to kick start intelligent synapse*
DID they use different grades of powder back then?? I mean, I
know they had cannon powder which was very course grained (or corned as I think they called it)....but did they make or have
other grades of powder? Or did they only commonly make what muskets took back then? And make other finer grades later as rifles become more prevalent?
: Help me out Bill. Bring me up to speed. What is the deal with the T shirts, what is GGGG and SYMT and whats the deal with your teeth? HaHa
Well, I'll tell ya Eric....We hope to have T shirts made to commemorate what is coming to be an international gathering of LOM fanatics. And GGGG Stands for Gracious Golden Gents and Gentlewomen (though Elaine and others will speak with forked tongue and say otherwise!) while SYMT stands for Snippy Young Mohican Things (though once again Elaine and her SYT clan will paint their chests black and red *now THERE's a sight to ponder on!!* and strike the war post for my saying so.
As to teeth....it is an old age joke. As is Depends *maybe you know them as Pampers for Men*, walkers, etc etc. I have natural teeth....at least so far. Nor do I really wear Depends (though I will admit to running to the bathroom two or three times during the night). Seems two camps developed before xmas....as Chris suggested you gott read the posts for that day or two to really get the flavor of the onrunning battle (primarily between the ladies) of the two tribes GGGG and SYMT. Somehow I got caught up
in it....dunno how. Now there is talk of roastings...Bill Burgers, heart kabobs etc.
"Clear it up any?"
