I remember reading in an article about shooting these scenes that the "mist" is from a hollywood smoke maker; that the canoes kept bumping into each other due to zero visibility, etc., in otherwords it took a long time. There are posts about this scene from last year; don't quite have the time to figure out which one. Actuallly, I could use one of the canoes here to get to the store..high tides and lots of storm runoff equals one road to town under water! (Kids missed school; they love it!!) But no snow here, just mud.
Actually, what did happen to the canoe props? Susan also pick them up on a garbage run?
