This board is so busy it's hard to keep up with what I read where! Someone mentioned something about Chingachgook's war club. The club was designed and built by LOTM's assistant prop master, Jim Morgan according to an article in the Nov. 1994 edition of KNIVES. It's a very good article on one of the knifemakers, Randall King, and includes some of King's personal photographs of Daniel Day-Lewis and Wes Studi. Well worth looking for a copy if you can find it. That's King's knife that Hawkeye is holding in the LOTM poster.
