Hey Thanks there Parker. 2F (FF) grade is commonly called musket grade powder these days. But it does show they probably did use the same grading identifiers. 3F (FFF) is commonly used for rifles under 60 cal today, while 4F (FFFF) is used for priming (though Jo or somebody there said that they use 3F for priming also, and that rifles back then had larger touchholes). But thanks for looking that up!!! They did grade then, and probably used the same system.
