What is he saying?

does everybody know this one part in the movie where Hawk eye is running up the trail right after uncas got thrown off the cliff and he yells something like "Nahcanz!" do you think that means brother cos when they are following the trail to the huron village he says something like "Dohj, nahcanz" so i think he is saying "father, brother" anyone agree or disagree? I love trying to translate stuff!! hehe
