It is somewhat timely that you, Gayle, one of the newest members of this council fire, appeared when you did. Though I beg to differ as to just WHO is the head brave here, your obviously intelligent & curious face has struck us ... as has your desire to be noticed by the the other faithful assembled among us. You see, there are many here who have been here almost as long as we have, some are here EVERY day, some pop up now & then, some seem to have lost their way and we can only hope that they find the path back to us at some juncture. Often, these friendly & fun folks have made contributions to this Board that are immortal (see the 1997 Archives) and even to the Site ... from photos, to writings, to ideas ... some as simple as the "View Today's Messages" button above. Always, in the past, they have welcomed newcomers with open arms, as it should be. The OTHER almost-head brave & I have noticed that the friendship & open-arms policy may have slipped a notch of late. This is NOT the way of MohicanLand. There has been MUCH (compared to the past) silence ... even to the additions we have put up on the Site. We are perplexed at that ... does no one care about Wes Studi or Madeleine Stowe? Call Sheets or MM's sketches? Fans who go through the trouble of having displays of LOTM weapons CUSTOM MADE and bringing it all on the road! - and then sending photos to us to share, for free, with all the other Warriors & Clan Mothers of this great MohicanLand! Press Kits? Wampum? Does anybody CARE when a new face arrives to share in the common experience that we try to bring to one another each & every week? It has been distressing to us ... as we've said before, the ENTHUSIASM & FEEDBACK that all who come here have given, enables us to maintain the energy to keep this MohicanLand growing! Without it, it would slip back to being JUST a vehicle to sell a book. More so, it must seem to the rejected, or ignored newcomer! We MUST let the energy flow ... whether the magnet that draws one here is DDL, Cooper, the massacre at Fort William Henry, captivity tales, ditty bags, or the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!

Let us, Gayle, be the first to welcome you to the Council Fires of Our People!

PS - Bill, I like the idea of Lainey in the bunny suit VERY much!
