: Well, THANK YOU!

Why, you're most welcome, Rich...happy to jump in and disagree with you! ;o) I do wish to make clear, though, that I certainly agree that MS ought to be a bigger star than she is at this point, regardless of what the reason might be. I just meant that I don't think she has totally thrown away her career on junk movies. She says she prefers hanging out on her ranch with hubby, Brian Benben, to actively pursuing bigger & better roles...? Don't know if that's just a line or not...frankly, I still can't picture her being married to Brian Benben at all, let alone preferring his company to her career...but that's just ME.

As for Wes being on the rise...that's debatable, in my opinion, too. I haven't seen him do anything that remotely compares to his role of Magua. Again, don't get me wrong, I think he's great. I love his face & voice, and think he has terrific charisma and talent. I just don't see where it's being put to great use these days, either. Maybe Hollywood just doesn't know what to do with him, or is only offering him parts that are repeats of things he's already done. His role in Heat, while well done, was certainly small, and as for Deep Rising...well, suffice it to say that film is hardly Academy Award material, either. I would like to see him doing MORE!

DDL seems to be the only one who came out of LOM with bigger & better opportunities on the horizon. Where are all the good films for any of the others, really? I'd love to see Stephen Waddington in something substantial, too. And Johdi. Compared to them, Madeleine's career doesn't look so bad after all.
