Eric's scenes

Each time I've watched the movie I've noticed that Eric Schweig was kept from competing in center stage with Daniel D-L. For instance, in many scenes, DDL is inexplicably shirtless while Uncas only removes his shirt during the game scene at the Camerons. After reading the original script, I'm amazed at how the Uncas and Alice story was shortened and kept in the background! The original version of the under the falls scene between Uncas and Alice was far more indepth and ... lets face it ... sexier than what was shown.
...sigh....
