Ok, Chris, here's my list, though I must say, LOTM is, in most cases, FAR superior to anything else any of the "stars" did ...

DDL - In the Name of the Father
Madeleine Stowe - Closet Land or 12 Monkeys (Stakeout is pretty funny, in a juvenile way!)
Eric Schweig - Tom & Huck (which I didn't see until after his recommendation. Pretty Good.) Maybe Broken Chain (also features Wes Studi), for its period effect, but its really not nearly as powerful as it could have been!
Jodhi May - A World Apart
Wes Studi - Geronimo (Heat is probably a better film, and its directed by Michael Mann, but Wes' role is small!)
Steven Waddington - 1492 is excellent, his role small. Try Ivanhoe!
Russell Means - Haven't seen anything else with him in it.
Pete Post ..... ? - See DDL above, or maybe, DragonHeart.
Soldiers' # 1 & 2 - LOTM sequel ... yet to be released!!!!

As for wearing out tapes, well, I was using rented copies and then a copy of a rented copy, for the first million or so viewings. I wore out my first purchased copy in several months, but I was CONSTANTLY running in backwards, sideways & in slo-mo trying to identify sites. Since then, my viewing has slowed down, a bit, and my 3 copies are holding up (regular, THX, and network TV).
