: Chris, I would LOVE a copy of Stars'n'Bars...email me & we'll talk.

OK

As for Eversmile, it IS the one where he's the traveling dentist, isn't it? That's what I think I was told...he rides a motorcycle all over the countryside in South American or somesuch, looking for teeth to fix? Please say it's supposed to be a comedy, too...I can't think this is a good premise for a serious film. ;o) As for checking it out again, your first impression is probably right. I've heard more people panning it than praising it. I just would like to SEE it to make up my own mind.

Yup, you've got the right film. If it was supposed to be a comedy, I didn't quite get the message, but it was a BAD premise for a serious film. Who knows??

BTW, you HAVE seen DDL in The Bounty, haven't you? He does a nice turn in it, plus you have the bonus of seeing Mel at his absolute most gorgeous. I didn't think it was a *great* film, but with Mel, Daniel and Anthony Hopkins (plus a completely unknown Liam Neeson) in it, there was enough to watch to keep me happy!

I just watched "The Bounty" again last weekend. Not only is the scenery (DDL, Anthony H, Liam N and Mel of course) wonderful, but it was filmed on Moorea and the scenery there is wonderful too. We visited the island (next to Tahiti) a couple of years ago and I was absolutely captivated. Remember Bali Hai from "South Pacific"? That's how I felt about Moorea.

Chris
