: : Thank you for your note....i dont have much time tonight cuz I have to feed the kiddies and help them with their homework, but I will have to make time and get deep into LOTM.......What do you think of the sound track?....In my opinion it probably the BEST music for a movie I've ever heard....Something I never tire of.....It captures the theme and feeling of the movie like no other soundtrack I've heard.........If you enjoyed Randy Edelman's score, then by all means pick up his wonderful score to the movie "Gettysburg"....You wont be dissapointed.

: Hi, Norm. Glad you mentioned soundtracks. I'm a real soundtrack enthusiast. I love the music from this picture. It is one of my very favorites, and I play it a LOT! I especially love to play it when I'm driving in the mountains on vacation...it just feels wonderful to come around a curve & see a beautiful vista stretched out ahead just like the opening scenes from the film and hear that wonderful music soaring! I like quite a few other soundtracks a lot, too, though...The English Patient, Braveheart, Rob Roy, Dances With Wolves, Out of Africa, The Piano, and Immortal Beloved come to mind. They are all very dramatic and inspirational. I like the soundtrack to Titanic, too, even though the Celine Dion song is EVERYWHERE. It has some very nice Celtic sounds throughout. And I remember when watching Gettysburg that the music was good. I'll look for that one.

have you heard the "glory" score. Besides the ones you listed, that's one of my favs too.
