Hi, Norm...I'll check out some of the Ry Cooder stuff...sounds interesting. And I did like the soundtrack from Glory, though I didn't buy it...yet. As for classic rock, of course I like the Beatles & some of the Stones, but I love Led Zeppelin (so does my 26-year old son, who plays lead guitar in a college band). Also, The Eagles (great lyrics to most of their stuff) and anything with Joe Walsh playing guitar. And the single Frankenstein by Edgar Winter. And lots of Hendrix. And Joplin. And I could go on and on. I just plain love music. All kinds for all moods. Though of late, my life is so hectic that I find myself listening much more to mellow sounds like my soundtracks and Celtic music. It's just more relaxing. But then, I'm OOOOOOld as has been mentioned before...maybe my rock 'n' roll days are best packed away with my bellbottoms and love beads. (Tradin' in rocking for a rocker?)

Nowadays, I just want to sit in the shade by a mountain waterfall, and dream...if I listen to the quiet long enough, I can almost hear Hawkeye saying, "I'm looking at you, Miss." *and off she goes into La-La Land with her senile imaginings!*
