Lonesome Dove is a GREAT movie! Filled with memorable lines (the one above is delivered by Duvall on his deathbed) and some of the most natural bantor (between Robert Duvall & Tommy Lee Jones) ever recorded on film (IMHO)!! Also stars Danny Glover, Robert Urich, Anjelica Huston, Frederick Forrest, Diane Lane, Rick Schroeder and an EXCELLENT supporting cast. It's more than a tad unsettling at times, but deeply touches the emotions on MANY levels & features intriguing characterizations. It FAR surpasses the Prequel which has Eric Schweig among its cast. Wes Studi, by the way, is in the fair Sequel, "Streets of Laredo".

: But if we're talkin rock and roll....we gotta talk about the Boss!!!

Hard to argue, when his keyboard player is named Danny FEDERICI! (no relation ... oh well)
