: Well, since no one else has anything to say ...................

: As Rich mentioned yesterday, Noel Manning, the guy with whom we did the interview, has a lot of really neat pre-production photos. These are detailed close-ups of warriors in dress and paint. They are great!!! If anyone was wondering how to do their Huron make-up properly for the gathering, now you'll know. As soon as we have our collection, we'll put them up. Noel was hired to take stills for Michael Mann so he could determine what he wanted to use in the film.

: The gathering; final plans are falling into place. Please remember to bring an appropriate wedding gift for Ros and Magua. English scalps would be nice. Maybe a captive or two (someone you really don't like???) could be useful. I know Ros said they can always use extra tomahawks and knives. Matching travel kits with red ochre and black paint, vermillion, and clam shell tweezers would really be thoughtful. Please be creative.

: Then there is the blooming romance between Miss Marcia and Dweebie Day-Lewis. A bit of love potion and romance enhancing gadgets for those two would be appreciated. Mary has won Hawkeye's affections, from what we've heard. Congratulatory wampum belts might be in order.
: We do have a beautiful poem written by Hawkeye describing his "pining" for Mary. We'll print it next week. It's really touching!

: Let's see .......... Jo could use a new horse blanket. If there is anything else, please let us know. Trying to tie together all the loose ends here.

I could do with some brandy; will pay with cheese. Maybe Magua and Ros would like some wooden shoes, red ochre colored and decorated with a younker's scalp?
