From the "Now we've seen everything" Department ...

In today's mail came a brochure addressed to Mohican Press. It contained glossy photos & ordering information for a 20th Century Fox endorsed, genuine LOTM playset!! It comes complete with figures, modeled from the film, of Hawkeye (running, of course ... as in the poster), Cora, Magua, Uncas, etc. There are Hurons and Mohawks and British infantry. There's a cliff, an Indian Village, trees, logs, and all kinds of other accessories. The first 500 orders come with an autographed photo of Wes Studi as Magua. Pretty neat! Pretty expensive! Cost is $159.95. There are additional figures, canoes, artillery ... even Rogers' Rangers ... that can be purchased separately. Great stuff for dioramas or for kids like us!

Were going to contact these folks and see if we can't work out a deal, but in the meantime, if you want to investigate further, here's the address:
