: I've been reading all the great posts describing the gathering and the viewing of LOTM on the big screen - I wish I'd been there - anyway, I was reading all the posts when I noticed a familiar face on "Cheers." Believe it or not, the Gray Hair had a part as the leader of a very bad Irish singing group performing during St. Patrick's Day at the Boston bar "Cheers!" I couldn't believe it until I'd seen the credits and sure enough, Maurice Roeve's (sp) name was mentioned in the credits. It was a heartless performance!

He was also on an episode of Star Trek: Next Generation as either a Volcan or Romulin captain,(they all look the same to me). he shed the "Grayhair" for black and a bowl cut....he looked, I have to say, very different.
Why does it seem that all the minor actors end up on one Star Trek episode or another?? and always as aliens. Gives new meaning to the words, "odd job".
