That would be me? :) I've been so busy I'm lucky if I know what day it is, let alone have time to post. Anyway, I liked this scene a lot in the network broadcast. The restoration of Heyward's diversion gave the scene a nice balance. The sound was incredible. You could hear the bullets tearing through the air and "thwacking" into the French soldiers (ick). I agree, the movenments of Uncas and Hawkeye were very graceful. I sort of suspect that this and some other scenes were done in order to make people in the audience go, "Ooooh!" (well, it IS a romance!)
