This came to mind while reading the thread on the elk hunt and the beautiful job that was done with sound. One thing my eye is always drawn to is in the scene where Cora meets Duncan for the first time in the film. In the background are men making what apears to be applecider. I love this detail... another hint that the story takes place in late summer. To those who know the true facts, is this time frame historically accurate?
