: we have begun to lay out some tentative plans for our SECOND Annual Gathering of Mohican Maniacs ... please share your suggestions with us ... We are hoping to be able to set up a display room on Thursday ...

OK, that big old 4x4 scale model of Fort William Henry (Michael Mann's own!) will gladly be put on display, after we repair it. The only problem is that it won't fit in my car! I had to saw off parts of the base in order to fit it in to get it home (that, too, will be repaired). So, Eric? Your truck?

Still another display, kind of a bizarre living history exhibit ... This from Dr. Mary ...

"I guess now Dr. Mary has achieved Global World-Wide Net Fame now...perhaps we could discuss ancillary deals ... perhaps a CD of Dr. Mary playing her favorite tunes on the harmonica. Her repertoire is somewhat
limited, consisting only of "Danny Boy" and "Silent Night," but what the hey. She also has the ability to sing "O Holy Night"
like a chicken. She often entertains her friends at select gatherings this way. Think it over! ... M"

How's THAT sound for some fun??

: Sunday would again be a day of field trips to other sites.

Well, if the River Walk location is part of the State Forest system by then, as, I believe, it will be, then that should be a must! We'd be over towards Asheville, so maybe the Elk Hunt & Tracking The War Party location would make a good companion on that day. Just a preliminary suggestion ...

Start booking your weekend, folks!!
