Oh, VERY well put, Ayesha! Agreed 100%. I really enjoyed it. He did a good job. The guy who played his friend/'brother' drove me a little crazy...but I learned to ignore that. Eric looked fine (and I do mean *fine*) and stretched a little in his acting. It was a noble effort on his part...and TNT does at least try hard.

[By the way, WHY did the director insist on making all the Indians pronounce their 'th's as 'd's...to the point of sounding silly?!! I understand how, back in those days, being new to English, there may have been a natural tendency toward that pronunciation, and perhaps the director was striving for authenticity, but this sounded over-affected. Can anyone enlighten me? Elaine? Rebecca?]
