Afternoon all, I'vebeen away to the local historic site this weekend for some much needed immersing. We made corn likker for the visitors(wouldn't let them drink it,liability beening what it is), then spent the night in the backwoods of the site.
Other than almost cutting off the tips of two of my fingers last night while cutting a sapling for a skewer(very unHaweye like of me), we spent the morning cooking breakfast and having a shooting match (which I did much better at than stick cutting). Before I clean my firelock and doctor my hand I'd like to say how much I enjoy this site, and urge you all to go to a nearby historic site to soak up some of the real life of the people in our film.
Now about the horse, I had thought that they had probably left the horse at the Camron's until Marcia mentioned the trip to Albany, I'll have to find out where Scylerville is or was in reference to Albany and the Cabin, they could have been on their away back from the trading when they found the sign of the war party. If I get another theory I'll post it.
