I agree. I especially liked the scene where Hawkeye, Winthrop, and Munroe are arguing about whether or not the colonials will be allowed to defend their homes, as the British promised they would be. I used the 5 minutes from "What are you looking at, sir?" to "Someday I think we're going to have a serious disagreement." in my film class to show film continuity editing, (the shot/reverse shots), motifs (the eye and the rifle), and sound (the music during the covering of the courier scene). My film teacher responded with "he's such a great actor." She was talking about DDL, but Edward Blatchford (Jack Winthrop) was great, too.

I don't remember seeing Blatchford in anything else, but I looked it up in the Internet Movie Database website (http://us.imdb.com) and found that he was in:
All Tied Up (1994) as Detective Frank Steinham
Un Soltero con mucha cuerda (Spanish version of All Tied Up) 1992
Nowhere to Run (1993) as Lonnie
Twenty Bucks (1993) as an ex-hippie
Our Favorite Movie (1992) as Jack Winthrop
Long Gone (1987)(TV) Whiz Whsonant

Has anyone seen him in anything recently?

Georgette
