: : In the movie, Kawkeye says he is going to Can-tuc-kee. Does he really mean Kentucky? I cannot imagine walking from Lake George to Kentucky to spend the winter. By the time the walkers get to Kentucky, winter would be over.
: : Albany is far enough from Lake George!
: : Regards.
: He means the "area" of presetn day Kentucky. Can-tuc-kee is most likely the american indian name for the area. Remember, Kentucky is a modern day state, but at that time there were no states yet.
:I'm a bit slow here so I'm confused. So Hawkeye meant the Kentucky that exist today? So Kentucky was called Can-tuck-kee?
