I agree, Myte...I thought he was elegant & refined, and absolutely drop-dead gorgeous in the fashions of the day. I also thought his torment over what he should do was almost painful to watch. Of course, my husband just wanted to slap him senseless and tell him to go get what he wanted. But then he doesn't care for anything in the Victorian era, and does not understand the mores of those days at all. I find it a fascinating time, and though I'm very glad to be living in a more liberated age, there is something to be said for the beauty and grace of the period. At least on *film.*
