: : I did not think you were being presumptuous at
all. Many people have wondered about the same thing.
But it's so easy to assume we know the whole story
with these celebrities, and really, we have no idea
what's going on. Again, "I am defending him because
I've become infatuated with him!!" Not really, but
it does make me want to give him the benefit of the
doubt.

: Hi Mmmmmmarcia:o)

: You say you've become infatuated with DDL--that's
the Mohican magic......I've seen 3 of his movies
other than LOTM: "My Left Foot"......"In the Name of
the Father"......"Age of Innocence." Of the 4, I'd
rate them: l) LOTM 2) In the Name...3)draw between
Left Foot & Age of Innocence. Here's a
thought......shouldn't we give some of the adulation
to Michael Mann....he created the stirring dialogue,
found the mesmerizing music, approved of the actors
chosen, did the editing that gave the movie its
dramatic timing, etc. Checked out his latest movie &
discovered it stars Robert DeNiro & the actor who
played "Serpico"--can't even remember his
name........two of my least favorite cinema
stars......their movies are often much too violent,
stark, & the language usually insults your
intelligence:o). I'll check it out anyway just to
compare it with LOTM......take care, ann

:Are you referring to Heat? I have that in my
collection because it stars another of my
favorites....Val Kilmer
