Hi there Rich,
You wrote: Well, actually Vita, that's MY line added to the script page as commentary. At the time, as you know, there was a lively discussion on the Board debating whether it was "subtle" or "sudden". I strongly felt it was "subtle", but was overruled by those with closed-captioned TV. However, I know those captions aren't always correct either, so, since there is NO definitive proof, I prefer to believe it's "subtle." I like the flow better!"
I figured it was your footnote, since you were commenting on the script. However, I like the "subtle-version better too. In line with Hawkeye's character.
No, I don't remember the comments by those with close captioned TV, I must have missed them. Can one decode the captions on a video too?
I am looking for the THX version, since it has less pans and zooms etc, I might see more of the distance shots? Such as soldiers left over by the river walk. Poor fellows. Really though the sense you get at first and most of the subsequent watchings, it's like no one has been left alive.
See you folks by the river
PS I am looking for "FOLLOW THE RIVER" video too...
