: Why, thank you, JC! I've always thought my purpose in life was to provide comic relief, so I laugh a LOT. I don't know how people with no sense of humor survive this ol' world, really.

: Well, he IS, you know! I mean, we're talkin' Mick Jagger hips, here!

: : Anyways, it was me that asked about The Boxer last week. I did go right out and rent it- I thought it was very good, sad subject, but very good. DDL was excellent in it- what a smile he has! I found it very difficult though to make out what they were saying - the accents were so thick! I give The Boxer a thumbs
: up!

: I'm so glad you liked it. Yes, the accents were tough, that's for sure. I understood MOST of what they were saying, but I definitely missed some lines here and there. I think that's one reason why Mark (Mr. L.M.) didn't enjoy it as much as I did...he really had trouble figuring out what was being said. But, even with that problem, it's still an excellent film, IMHO. And Daniel's ability to play this tough, determined fighter who has such a gentle, tender side to him is another testimonial to his talent.

I was supposed to see The Boxer, I tried 8 times to see it (some friends just bail out at the last minute, go to wrong theatre, note down the wrong time). IF I had actually managed to have gone I would have had an Irish accent translator with me. But none that would have been as good as if I went to see the movie with DDL.
