: Hi Gayle and MMMMM
If it had been the Great Rosemary Rodgers the Ultimate Bodice Ripper Romance Historical Fiction Novelist writing a Magua/Alice tale, she'd have Alice sober up very quietly, foxily, smile at him blushingly, manage to seduce him wantonly, and of course scalp him very smartly.
He certainly deserved that scenarioo!
And true, the Magua we saw, would certainly not give her any quarter, even though he seemed human for a second, that was only to get his prize to his village and to her tortured demise. Indeed the Magua we saw would need Rosemary Rodgers' full guile and many a feathered quill to have him undergo a change of heart to let her live even a moment longer than it would take him to throw her into the bonfires.

But it feels soooo good to imagine it otherwise...Magua on his knees, teary, humble, haunted by Uncas' ghost.

V.
