Vita, JC has it correct. Instead of translating Hawkeye's offer to burn, Duncan offers himself by saying only "Take ME" to the Sachem. He does not ever indicate that Hawkeye has offered, though I believe that would have been perfectly obvious to the Sachem just from watching Hawkeye's gestures and actions.
