Clabair, many thanks for bringing this series to our attention. My husband and I watched tonight's episode with great interest. I even scored a point with him when they mentioned Fort Ticonderoga, and I said, with with an air of someone imparting great wisdom and knowledge, "That's the other name for Fort Carillon, you know...!" To my surprise, he said, "Huh?" and then they showed the map with it written on it, and I got to feel smugly superior for about 30 seconds while he read it for himself. And they say you can't learn anything from a movie!! hehe But then shortly after that he was back to explaining lots of stuff to me as the show went along, so my smugness dissipated, and all was as before...with him being the History Guy, and me being Mother Nature. (He may have his facts straight about the French & Indian War...but *I* know the difference between a Florida Scrub Lizard and a Southeastern Five-Lined Skink! Neener, neener, neener!)

We will be watching for your friend tomorrow. Thanks again!

MMMMarcia
