Hi, Sarah,

A (so-called) lazy eye wouldn't disappear after one scene. It is caused by an elongated muscle in the eyelid, and if you have one, you have it pretty much all the time...like Forest Whittaker. I know this, because *I* have one that can't be repaired surgically because of crossed nerves. If it showed up as seldom as Hawkeye's little twitch, I'd be very happy, but it's pretty much always there. As I said, his eyes were filled with tears, and one of them blinked/twitched just a tad. That's all. I think it helped convey the tenseness of the moment, as he was fighting to suppress his emotions over the death of his friends.

MMMM
