I was happy to see the posting by our new Mohicanland resident Bruce. I thought I'd add some info I know regarding the BBC LOTM series. I think it was made in the '70s, but I saw it when it aired on our local PBS station in '81. I have been trying to locate it on video ever since and have done many searches--even through the PBS search, and it just doesn't seem to be available. I believe it is on Lionheart video. Anyway, it comes the closest to the actual Cooper story than any other production--even though the production wasn't high budget and British actors portrayed Indians. It still remains to be my fave production from Cooper's work. If anybody else finds any other info on this series be sure to let us know on the board! Penny THE Mohicanite of CO
