LOTM on the Big Screen

Hi everyone,

I went with my husband to see LOTM on the "somewhat big screen" in San Francisco last night. It was at a center for the performing arts. The screen was probably half the size of the regular screen. It was still better than the T.V. set. I had a nice meeting with Georgette, who had posted that the film was playing last evening.

Everytime I see it, I see or feel something new. This time I saw a great compassion in the eyes of Magua just before Alice jumped off the cliff. After her jump, it looked to me as if he felt is was some kind of a "bad mark" on his life and the sooner he could get out of there the better. Being as it is still very fresh in my mind, I still experienced Alice's "JUMP" as a moment of strength and defiance. It was such a powerful moment in the film.

I sure do hope we get to see the "Director's Cut" one day. So much more could have been developed with the characters and their interactions. This time the movie seemed to go by must faster than previous viewing. It was about 2 1/2 hours long. Is that right?

On another note: It was great to see the beaded choker from the Mohican Store that I ordered on Ching. Also, it seems like a mini version of DDL's wampum belt. Elaine, if you see this post---can that belt be ordered in a particular length?

For all of you who live in New York City, I will be exhibiting at the New Life Expo next weekend in Booth 107. If you are there stop by to say Hi. I would love to meet kindred spirits during my time there.

By the way, please everyone get their Director's Cut letters in. After seeing the film again last night, I am hoping and praying for more.

Have a great weekend,

Ayesha
