I take it as a great compliment that you read my recently published article on clothing for wilderness survival. You lit out of here so fast, saying you never wanted to set foot in the wilderness again, that I was quite sure I'd never hear from you again. As much as we loved (lusted after?) each other, I think we both agreed that you could not adapt to my way of life any more than I could adapt to yours. Since our parting was by mutual agreement, I was surprised by the bitter tone of your letter. Am I to assume that your life has not been a bed of roses since you left? London is not how you imagined, thinking of it in Schuylerville and Can-tuck-ee? You've not found a man who could be my match?? You're jealous that I have found comfort and solace in your absence??? Gee, I'm so sorry! Hehehehe...
