: : Had to ask you Davenie... being from the "midwest", are you going to be around Indiana? To everyone as well, the "Feast of The Hunter's Moon" - an 18th century reenactment festival is going on this weekend in Tippencanoe County. Would love to meet some fellow Mohicans out there !

Oh,man!! I missed Caitlin and Mark Baker!! I was planning on going to the festival and taking my dad. But it is a couple of hours drive from his house and he didn't feel up to the trip. So we went to a Civil War reenactment at Hartford City instead. Next weekend at Marion, Ind. is the Mississenwa 1812 reenactment.
It reenacts an attack on Miami Indians, who were thought to be British allies, made by American soldiers. I forget the particulars of the battle and I know this is not directly Mohican connected. But it is a great festival, with Miami Indians, British soldiers, early American soldiers, bagpipe and drum corps, women in period clothing, ect. If anyone is close enough
to go, it is well worth seeing. I plan on being there.
