Considerin' it's the red-haired lass's first Fourth of July in Mohicanland, I've put on me best cotton lace-up wench blouse and summer plaid and am havin' a wee drop in this afternoon at my new cottage. Uncle Fergus in Edinburgh sent me a birthday package of l2-year old Glenlivet and I'm willin' to share it with whoever drops by...be ye on the way to the fireworks or to the Yengeese woman's house, it don't matter. Anybody showin' up wearin' a kilt or a loincloth might also get a special gift...

: : : Oh, my, Dear Benton! What a fine evening we had last night, and I'm ever so happy to accompany you to today's festivities along the lakeside and in the village. Can't wait for the lovely feasting to begin and the music to start, for a DO love a good meal & a chance to trip the light fantastic with someone so debonnaire as yourself. But best of all, I SEW enjoyed the canoe ride upon the Glimmerglass! *sigh!* What a romantic way to spend an afternoon, and in such good company, as well. You sure know how to treat a genteel and RE-fined lady such as myself, and don't think for a moment your attentions have gone unnoticed. Shall we head on over to join the party now?
