: Why of course, I would be hon-ored to have Miss Marcia over at anytime she pleases...and to sup-ply you with all the shortbread you might want to sell! Since I don’t have full-time employment yet, might as well keep the bakin’ skills sharp. As for me haggis, trust me, it’s not catfish bait. You’ll be forgettin’ it’s the heart and lights of a sheepin no time!
: The drop-in went wonderfully, al-though seems some of those nice Hurons who dropped by got way too excited when they found out what was in haggis. “You want REAL tasty hearts, we bring you some!” one guy said. “You’ll NEVER run out of hearts here...” Now, where would these nice men be getting me some sheep hearts? I haven’t seen many sheep around lately...
: another question. Seems Doc Mary sent over this other young man in lieu of that nice Hawkeye. Boy’s name is Dweebie some-thing. And he presented me with the strangest cottage-warming gift I”ve ever received. A leather belt strung with chipmunk pelts....is this some sort of Mohicanland custom? And what can I do with a chipmunk pelt? Perhaps use them for earwarmers for my cats?
: Please offer suggestions...and hope to see you soon!

Why, young Red-Haired Lass, I got jist the thing for those chipmunk pelts. If'n ye'll trade them to me for a small pack o' beaver pelts, I can use them to make moccasins for Hector. That pore ol' hound o' mine is gettin' mighty tender about the paws now that he's so old, and chipmunkskin moccasins would save me lardin' up his paws every night during a long hunt. Jist you bring those little tiny skins over here to my cabin, and I'll make ye a fine trade for them.

On the other hand, if ye're lookin' for something a little more colorful than plain beaver skins, Simon Girty still has his stock o' polecat skins that the British never would pay him for. Wouldn't be honest o' me not to mention that, though I sure would fancy those chipmunk skins, myself.
