She Who Tracks La Longue Caribine: I would be more than grateful to trade you these chipmunk pelts for those beaver pelts ye mentioned. Try as I might I couldn't get a single one of the felines to accept havin' a chipmunk pelt tied over his little head, even though they would have made right fine ear-warmers come winter. And it pains me to think of your poor Hector with his achin' feet. Through my sad romances back in Carolina before I escaped to Mohicanland, I've learned a faithful dog and a good cat are often the best companionship. Ye don't think I'll be offendin' that Dweebie boy,givin' away his cottage-warming gift? I imagine he'd understand.
