yes re. this mosquito and chemistry thing. I, too, am like a magnet to them. This goes for ants, too. I can not stay a minute out there, be it day or nite, without being stung by one or the other. And forget about Skin So Soft, etc. Nothing helps! Right now, it is the fourth time within the last few hours that I have resorted to cortizone cream plus one Benadryl pill, lets I'll not be able to watch LOTM!

Sigh. I really wonder how I'd have fared in those days, let's say in Cora's shoes.... Perhaps one gains immunity, you know, one does what one has to do to survive....

: While we're on a commercial break from LOTM on TNT, I have a question. I have just come from a neighborhood cookout at which I was one of the only people to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. I have tried Skin So Soft, Off, etc. etc. but invariably I am made a buffet by summer's pests. Somebody told me this has something to do with blood chemistry or something. I figure since so many of you have done so much outdoors, somebody here might have an answer or an idea...I mean, I get bit even if nobody else is. And if you know South Carolina, you know our mosquitoes are just slightly smaller than troop transport planes...anyway, back to LOTM....any suggestions would be most welcome.
: and if Jo finds that bikini line discussion, somebody let me know!!!
