Well, NightSky, I think most people would agree with that. Of the ones I've talked to, only Emily & Kevin & I found him to be very funny in it. (I believe it was Carol who said she'd rather clean toilets with her tongue than be forced to watch it again!)
But I thought he did well, though not nearly as well as he does at intense drama, of course. And he's positively deliciously funny as Cecil Vyse in Room With a View. Though Cecil is one of those who doesn't THINK he's being funny.

However, to Chris I must say that though I liked Stars & Bars, I was really falling off the sofa laughing at Eversmile. Just the concept of a traveling dentist on a motorcycle in Patagonia, bringing dental health to the masses (?) cracks me up. He was a "Man with a Mission," and too funny! But, I can certainly see where that would not be a type of comedy for everyone. You really have to have an off-the-wall viewpoint to appreciate it, I think.

But still...nothing compares to LOTM! It has it all, doesn't it?
