Okay it's not a blooper, it's a gavel! It's a graphic which, along with Alec Baldwin's name, was inserted to promote that movie about the Nurembourg (sp?) trials. There oughtta be a law against putting graphics or other actors' names into LOTM!
Gosh it looked like that gavel feel right out of that rock. Oh well, watched that part again today and felt like a fool!

: On tonight's TNT presentation of LOTM, I saw something strange I've never seen before. Near the end of the movie, when the Hurons are walking (at Chimney Rock)...during the first over-head view of the Hurons before Uncas whacks one...it looked like something fell or dropped from the cliff to the right of the Huron path. Whatever it was, it was kind of orangy-brown. Right then, the words Alec Baldwin and whatever movie they were promoting for him flashed across the screen.. Did anyone else see this? I of course checked my VHS version and saw nothing.
: By the way, just because Alec Baldwin's name appeared on the screen does NOT, I repeat NOT qualify as a 6 degree link to LOTM!!!
